Welcome to Stress and me.

By the end of the course, you will:

  • understand how and why we respond to events in our lives
  • be able to distinguish between stress and worry
  • be able to distinguish between reacting and responding to events
  • be able to define what the Reactive System does in our bodies
  • be able to define what the Responsive System does in our bodies
  • be able understand there is an optimal way to respond to events that could be perceived as negative stressors
  • know several techniques to achieve a calm state of mind
  • know how to activate the Responsive System to get out of Fight or Flight Mode
  • understand your emotions, and have an extended emotional vocabulary
  • know how to break a chain of negative thoughts
