Welcome to Stress and me.
By the end of the course, you will:
- understand how and why we respond to events in our lives
- be able to distinguish between stress and worry
- be able to distinguish between reacting and responding to events
- be able to define what the Reactive System does in our bodies
- be able to define what the Responsive System does in our bodies
- be able understand there is an optimal way to respond to events that could be perceived as negative stressors
- know several techniques to achieve a calm state of mind
- know how to activate the Responsive System to get out of Fight or Flight Mode
- understand your emotions, and have an extended emotional vocabulary
- know how to break a chain of negative thoughts
